WarCraft III has gone through several incarnations: it began as a 2D adventure titled Warcraft Adventures, which was canceled - but part of its recycled plot for this game. Initially it was created as an RPG with strategy elements, but was redesigned and finally reaches the public as a strategy game with RPG elements very subtle. And despite all the tribulations, the game is almost everything a fan of the series would expect.
WarCraft III is the first series to incorporate 3D graphics. Despite the relief exert little influence on the gameplay, the news is welcome as it helps in one of the strengths of single-player campaign: a narrative. With the introduction of the heroes as vital units in combat, each character has a huge importance in the events after the unfolding of history - and the plot is good enough to keep anyone saying 'I'll play JUST ONE MORE STEP to see what happens next' .
Some may have estranged the lack of definition of the destinations of Arthas and Illidan in the end, WarCraft III, but apparently their purpose has not been met - Blizzard revealed the first expansion of the game, The Frozen Throne, which should put two in an important role.
The ice-throne title refers to the arrest of King Ner'zhul, who is trapped in the glaciers of Icecrown. Despite having lost his physical form, his soul still inhabits the place ... and that's why Arthas and Illidan in a race to release the mystical powers of the monster.
Like any good expansion; Frozen Throne, will bring many new features to the game. The new plot is still based on the division of races, each with his campaign (despite the campaign of the Orcs to be independent from the rest of the story). In addition, each race will have new heroes and units that promise to add new strategies to the game.
Among the novelties is the Blood Mage of the human campaign. This elf is able to throw a powerful fire spell, or temporarily turn a unit into an intangible ghost, either to protect it or take it out of combat. Among the new units is the Blood Elf Spell Breaker, a soldier capable of reversing the effect of a spell of an army to your opponent.
Likewise, the environments also receive an update. Three new scenarios will be introduced in the expansion. One example is an environment of submerged ruins, which features a tropical forest environment with ancient buildings of pre-Columbian style - plus a relevant wildlife: giant tortoises, for example.

How to install Warcraft 3 1.26 Patch
Choose one of the following ways:
- Use Warcraft 1.26 Switcher to upgrade. (Warcraft Version Switcher)
- Use Warcraft 1.26 Patch offline upgrade file from Blizzard. (Recommended)
- Install Warcraft 3 TFT 1.26 Patch via Battle.net automatic update. (Requires original Warcraft 3 CD-Key)

• Hex will no longer provide a speed boost to a Hero if cast at the end of Metamorphosis or Chemical Rage effects.
• Reverted the 1.25b fix, "Hex will no longer extend the duration of Metamorphosis."
• Fixed an issue where some Mac patches could lead to disconnections during Battle.net games.
